The HR Compliance Service ensures that all Human Resources policies, procedures, and processes comply with applicable state and federal laws and regulations. This position requires a highly organized individual who can interpret laws and regulations and develop, implement, and monitor HR compliance programs.
Job Title: HR Compliance Service Officer
Job Summary:
The HR Compliance Service Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organization is compliant with all applicable HR-related laws, regulations, and policies. They will work closely with the HR team and other departments to develop and implement compliance programs and policies, as well as provide guidance and support on HR compliance issues. The HR Compliance Service Officer will also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s compliance programs and policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR compliance policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to HR team members and other departments on HR compliance issues
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization’s compliance programs and policies
- Conduct compliance audits and investigations, and develop corrective action plans as needed
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs to employees and managers
- Stay up-to-date with HR-related laws, regulations, and policies, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with external legal and compliance consultants as needed
- Work with the HR team to develop and maintain HR-related documentation, including employee handbooks, policies, and procedures
- Provide regular reports to senior management on compliance-related issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR compliance, preferably in a regulated industry
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to employment, such as EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Office Hours: The HR Compliance Service Officer will work a standard schedule of Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
